Hello everyone, so I am a little behind on my monthly update post. I had my hair twisted professionally, and I have posted the pic of the twist out. You can definitely tell how long it has gotten!! I am so excited. The next time I get it done, I am getting it straightened...duh, duh, duhhhhh, pray for me...LOL!! To moisten it used the Miss Jessie Baby Buttercream, my new favorite product. I too am taking the turn for natural hair, again! Back in 1999 I did the big chop and loved the versatility of my natural hair. I finally succumbed to the creamy crack got a relaxer two days before I got married in 2002. Needless to say I have had major regrets since. My last relaxer was in June 09 and I don't have the guts I had to do the big chop yet. I made a pack to make it 15 months then chop, don't know if I can last thou. Right now I've been mostly rockin roller sets, 2 and 3 strand twist outs along with getting it blown out and flat ironed. Congrats to you and your hair and happy growing!
ReplyDeleteKya, your hair looks fabulous!!! You're so versatile and can definitely rock any look. What do you use or how do you keep it detangled? The longer mine gets the worse the tangles get...ugh! I end up twisting it at night but it doesn't do anything for the tangles that seem to develop throughout the day. I am not having as much success with mine as I would like...it's still a work in progress to say the least.
ReplyDeleteLooking good! I would caution you about pressing though. I did it once and some pieces were permanently straight. Definitely go easy on the heat.
